Save on Gas
Getting better gas mileage is important if you want to get more bang for your buck. It’s easy to do too. All you need to do is change a few habits and you will be on the way to saving on gas.
If you observe the speed limit, you can save yourself about .16 cents per gallon on gas (over 50 mph) if you don’t go 5 mph over the speed limit. You can also save on gas if you use your cruise control on the highway.
You should avoid hauling cargo on your roof because it creates a lot of wind resistance and can reduce your fuel efficiency substantially. If you must haul items on the outside of your vehicle, then at least try to haul it with a rear-mount cargo box and be sure to remove it when it’s not in use.
Be smart and save your hard earned money.
